What is a fat transfer to the buttocks?

Fat Transfer to Buttocks is a surgical procedure performed with Vaser Liposuction, to extract excess fat cells from specific areas of the body. These extracted fat cells are then transferred into the buttock area, to modify the size and shape of the buttocks. The fat used is the patient’s own fat, and is sourced from suitable parts of the body including the stomach, hips, lower back, or sacral region.

How is a buttock fat transfer performed?

Fat Transfer to Buttocks is a liposuction and fat grafting procedure carried out with the application of a local anaesthetic numbing solution in each treated area, along with deep IV sedation (general anaesthesia). Vaser Liposuction is a fat removal procedure to remove excess fat from specific parts of the body, before it is harvested for fat grafting.
