Ultraformer Skin Tightening

Ultraformer is a non-surgical treatment that promotes face lifting and skin tightening to a number of problem areas. This includes the difficult-to-treat sub-mental zone (area under the chin) for effective neck lifting. It can also be used for skin tightening on small problem areas of the body and limbs.

Your initial Ultraformer consultation and subsequent procedure can be undertaken at our cosmetic clinic in Australia. We also treat many interstate and overseas patients each year at Cosmos Clinic.  Therefore, we have set procedures in place for those travelling to our clinic for treatment. During Ultraformer treatment (using the Ultraformer III), low levels of ultrasound energy are delivered into precise skin depths without damaging the surface of the skin. Similarly to radio frequency, this energy creates heat that stimulates tissue remodelling and the production of new collagen. The result, over time, is natural skin lifting, tightening and rejuvenation. Improvements to skin tone, fine lines and a clear complexion can also result (although this does vary from patient to patient). The treatment takes up to 45 minutes.

The effects of the Ultraformer treatment can be seen immediately and will improve over time. The final result takes around 90 days to appear and will last long-term (up to 1 year or more). A second treatment may be required and can be done 2 – 3 months after your first treatment to allow for greater longevity of results.

You may experience red skin (which will subside after a few hours) and/or swelling, tingling or tenderness (which will subside within a few days). Most people return to their regular activities post procedure, so there is very little downtime.
