What is CoolSculpting or “Fat Freezing”?

CoolSculpting is a highly effective and non-invasive  procedure that removes fat without surgery or downtime.

Based on science developed by Harvard University researchers, this breakthrough “fat freeze” treatment involves exposing fat cells to low temperatures. These stubborn fat cells are then crystallised, destroyed and removed naturally by your body’s immune system. CoolSculpting is a great option for targeting excess fat around your waist, tummy, inner thighs, outer thighs, love handles, back, arms, chin/neck , knees, ankles, bra fat or any other area of fat that is hard to shed with diet and exercise.

How does CoolSculpting work?

Based on science developed by Harvard University researchers, this breakthrough “fat freeze” treatment is based on a vast body of research that demonstrates that when fat cells are exposed to certain low temperatures, they are selectively, and painlessly destroyed. Contrary to the title, CoolSculpting doesn’t actually freeze the fat but only lowers the temperature to change the fat from a liquid to a solid. Doing so destroys the fat cells slowly so that they can safely be processed by the body, similar to how you process fat that you eat.

Am I a suitable candidate for CoolSculpting?

Coolsculpting is a great alternative for those who do not want to undergo surgery, but who have stubborn pockets of fat which won’t go away with diet or exercise. CoolSculpting targets specific areas of fat without going under the knife for a more drastic and surgically invasive procedure like Vaser Hi Definition Liposuction and Vaser Liposuction.

Is there any downtime?

There is no downtime for CoolSculpting treatments (* Results may vary from patient to patient). Recovery is instant. Patients can resume their routine activities, including returning to work and exercise regimens on the same day as the Zeltiq procedure.

How many treatments will I need?

Most patients get excellent results from one treatment however, some patients are so impressed with the results they choose to have multiple treatments in the same area. Your 2nd treatment in the same area can be done 1 week after your 1st treatment, with all following treatments needing to be spaced only 1 week apart. You can have more than one area treated on the same day.

Is the CoolSculpting Procedure painful?

When a CoolSculpting treatment you may experience a very mild discomfort, however in most cases it is painless(* May vary from patient to patient). Unlike many other methods of fat reduction, CoolSculpting involves no needles or surgery. The patient is seated comfortably or lying down during the procedure and will feel a sensation of pulling and intense coldness. This soon dissipates and many people spend the treatment time reading, working on their laptops, or even taking a nap.

Which areas can be treated with CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting can remove fat from many areas of the body including:

Tummy Back
Abdomen Arms
Waist Knees
Love Handles Chin & Neck
Inner Thighs Ankles
Outer Thighs Bra Fat

How much does CoolSculpting cost?

CoolSculpting is one of the most value-for-money fat removal procedures available, treatment costs start from $850 per application, and go as low as $600 per application, for packaged treatments. Each application can result in up to a 20% fat reduction (* Results may vary from patient to patient). Having offered CoolSculpting since 2011 in Sydney and being the first clinic in Australia to do it, we can give you great results. We offer packages at reduced pricing per area when you treat multiple areas.

The examples, predictions, and results offered on this website vary from individual to individual. Results take time. They can be seen in as little as 6 weeks. This time may vary considerably depending on each individual. 6 weeks is a typical example. Results are effected by a number of factors, predominantly the way in which a patient follows instructions post surgery and the manner in which the patient behaves generally post surgery. Diet and exercise play an important part in the health and well being of a patient and in the maintenance of their body shape. Results will also vary purely based on the general make up of each patient and whether they have had surgery previously.
