CoolSculpting is an FDA-approved, non-surgical and non-invasive fat removal technique that delivers results without the need for surgery. It’s a clinically-proven treatment that effectively reduces the number of fat cells in areas of unwanted fat. It can treat the tummy, hips, waist, legs, back, lower and upper arms, muffin top, banana roll and even the double chin.
Patients will notice some improvement in the treated area after one treatment. For optimum results, however, 2-3 treatments are recommended. Some fat reduction can be seen after three weeks and the final results can be expected 3-4 months post-treatment.
Problem Areas Treated as You Read a Book or Take a Nap
During your consultation with our medical professionals, your treatment areas and expected outcome will be thoroughly discussed. On the day of your procedure, an applicator will be attached to the treatment area using a light suction while controlled cooling is applied to the surface of the skin. At this time the patient will experience an intense cold sensation that normally dissipates within a few minutes.
The applicator will remain attached for approximately an hour. During the procedure patients may read, listen to music, work on their laptop or even take a nap.
The technology behind CoolSculpting is based on science developed over a decade ago by Harvard University researchers. The breakthrough “fat freezing” treatment involves exposing fat cells to very low temperatures, a process called cryolipolysis. Once the stubborn fat cells are frozen, they get destroyed and are naturally processed and removed by your body’s lymphatic system.
CoolSculpting fat reduction is great for trimming inches off your waist, tummy, inner thighs, outer thighs, love handles (muffin top), back, lower and upper arms, chin/neck , knees, ankles and bra fat. In fact, most areas with excess fat cells that don’t respond to diet and exercise can be effectively targeted with CoolSculpting.

CoolSculpting is a Walk-in, Walk Out Treatment
Typically there is minimal discomfort and recovery time. Patients can resume their routine activities, including returning to work and exercise regimens on the same day as the procedure. Some people may experience temporary side-effects such as redness or numbness, as well as minor swelling and bruising in the treated area.
CoolSculpting is a minimally-invasive fat reduction treatment that permanently eliminates fat cells. As long as patients maintain their weight with diet and exercise, long-term results are possible.
Some results can be seen as early as three weeks after the CoolSculpting procedure. But patients will experience maximum fat reduction after 12-16 weeks. Additionally, the body will continue to process injured fat cells for approximately four months after treatment. Typically, the procedure can reduce the fat layer by 20-40%.
