    Non-Surgical Face & Neck

Non-surgical facial rejuvenation is more popular than ever. It’s perfect for patients who are too young for surgery, want to delay the signs of aging or simply don’t wish to go under the knife. With the latest techniques in cosmetic enhancement, it’s now possible to prevent and even reverse wrinkles, sagging skin and many other unpleasant changes that occur as we age.

    Non-Surgical Face & Neck Procedures

    Potential Outcomes

These procedures are designed to address certain mild-to-moderate ageing concerns, with varying results, ranging from lines to deep wrinkles, volume loss, pigmentation issues and even fat reduction. Minimally-invasive treatments are also available to tighten and brighten the surface of the skin for a smooth and glowing complexion.

    Minimal Pain & Discomfort

All our non-surgical procedures can be done within a few hours or less in the comfort of our facility. Most treatments require only topical or local anesthesia. Some, like anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers, don’t require any advance numbing at all, although it’s available upon patient request.

    Little to No Downtime

Taking weeks or even days off to recover after a rejuvenating skin treatment may not be an option for many people. Minimally-invasive face and neck procedures aim for noticeable results with generally minimal downtime, although individual experiences may vary. In most cases, patients can return to work or resume their normal activities immediately after leaving the doctor’s office.

    Longevity of Results

With constant innovation in the world of non-invasive face and neck rejuvenation, patients can expect their results to last anywhere from six months to several years. Techniques such as non-surgical fat reduction may even be permanent as the destroyed fat cells never return. Combining modalities such as dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections can increase longevity even more.

    Surgical Face & Neck

Surgery is a great option for correcting advanced skin aging and other cosmetic concerns that are difficult to address with minimally-invasive techniques. In some cases the effects of gravity, severe sun damage and excessive fat requires a surgical approach. We often combine surgical procedures with minimally-invasive modalities for optimum results and patient satisfaction.

Benefits of Surgical Face & Neck Rejuvenation

    Results are Permanent

The biggest advantage to surgical augmentation is that results are usually permanent. This can give patients peace of mind that their appearance won’t revert to their pre-surgery condition. Although it’s important for anyone seeking cosmetic surgery to realise that it doesn’t halt the aging process but rather turns back the clock. The good news is that patients who take care of themselves and follow a healthy lifestyle can prolong their face and neck rejuvenation outcome.

    Improved Fitness and Physical Health

Another major benefit of surgical augmentation is that it can lead to positive lifestyle changes. Liposuction is a perfect example of this. Sculpting the jawline area using VaserLipo™ can give patients the incentive and motivation keep their weight off by eating healthier and becoming more physically active. In the long term, these positive changes can reduce a patient’s chances of developing serious health issues such as increased blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes.

    Affordability and Accessibility

Cosmetic procedures have become much more affordable due to improved technology and techniques, making face and neck rejuvenation accessible to the average person. Additionally, finding a reputable and experienced cosmetic practitioner is easier now than ever. A great deal of information is available about a clinic’s online reputation and quality of work. Patients are encouraged to carefully read reviews and view a doctor’s before and after photos to make sure his or her cosmetic aesthetic is aligned with theirs. Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks.

    FACE & NECK QUESTIONS

    Frequently asked questions

    What exactly does non-surgical mean?

Non-surgical simply means that a cosmetic treatment is performed at the doctor’s office as a quick outpatient procedure and doesn’t require the need for an operating room or general anesthesia. It’s also sometimes referred to as non-invasive or minimally-invasive.

What non-surgical options are available for face & neck?

The most popular non-surgical options include: soft tissue dermal fillers to restore volume, anti-wrinkle injections to smooth lines and creases, fat dissolving injections to treat the double chin, lasers to refine skin tone and texture, focused ultrasound (HIFU) to lift and firm skin and many more.

How do I know if non-surgical procedures are right for me?

Most people can benefit from some type of non-surgical face and neck rejuvenation, even if it’s only for prevention. If you have mild-to-moderate skin ageing, or you’re just starting to notice the early sign of ageing, then non-surgical treatments can offer you ways to treat and even reverse the conditions such as wrinkles, volume loss, pigmentation and texture issues and unwanted fat under the chin.

Can non-surgical rejuvenation replace a facelift?

In some cases even the most advanced non-invasive techniques may not be sufficient if you have advanced skin sagging and volume loss. A surgical facelift may be the best option to achieve a greater degree of change and thus satisfactory results.

How many times can non-surgical rejuvenation be performed?

Most non-invasive procedures can be repeated as often as necessary to maintain the desired results. In fact, consistent use of injectables is needed to stay looking fresh and youthful as anti-wrinkle injections last between three to four months and fillers up to 24 months.

Is there an advantage to having a cosmetic practitioner performing non-surgical rejuvenation vs. an injection nurse or other type of doctor?

A cosmetic practitioner’s main goal is to enhance a patient’s appearance. They understand facial anatomical structures and the principles of aesthetic appeal, symmetry and proportion. Cosmetic practitioners often apply their training even when performing non-surgical techniques to give you the best outcome possible.

    What exactly are cosmetic procedures?

The primary goal of cosmetic procedures as they pertain to the face and neck is to reverse the signs of ageing and enhance a person’s appearance. These types of procedures are primarily aesthetic in nature. Examples include: Face and Neck Contouring (Rhinoplasty, Liposuction) and Facial Rejuvenation (Brow Lift, Eyelid Surgery, Neck Lift, and Facelift).

How long does face and neck surgery last?

Most cosmetic procedures are permanent. But that doesn’t mean that patients will stop ageing and their appearance won’t change. Over time, everyone continues to grow older; however, those who had surgery will always look more youthful and better than if they hadn’t had a cosmetic procedure in the first place.

Will I get a scar after my face and neck procedure?

A highly skilled and experienced cosmetic practitioner is trained in special techniques to minimise scarring as much as possible. Incisions are usually placed in parts of the face which are difficult to see, such as the hairline or crease of the lid. The scar will be red for several months and will fade over time. In the unlikely event that a scar is visible after treatment, we can reduce its appearance using laser and other methods.

How much downtime will there be after the procedure?

Patients are advised to take at least one week off work after their procedure as this is the crucial healing time with the most pain and discomfort. Medications will be prescribed to make the recovery easier and more comfortable. Temporary side-effects such as bruising and swelling can persist several weeks to months in some cases, however patients are able to resume their normal activities within 4-6 weeks.

What will happen if I gain weight after my procedure?

If you had liposuction to reduce your cheeks or double chin, it’s possible that weight gain can cause this area to increase in size. Although the fat cells that were removed during surgery will never return, it’s possible for existing fat cells to plump up. For this reason patients are advised to lead a healthy lifestyle in order to maintain their facial contouring results.
