Silhouette Soft Thread Lift

A Silhouette Soft Face Lift is a minimally invasive procedure that uses absorbable thread cones to redefine and restore lost volume in the face for a youthful appearance. This technology has been developed in the United States from 6 years of experience using this the same concept in re-constructive and cosmetic surgery.

A small injection of local anaesthetic is applied to the area being treated. After this, the suture (thread cones) is placed under the skin. This is done using a fine needle and no incision is required. Once the suture has been applied, slight compression of the tissue is performed to reshape it by hand and to obtain the desired lifting effect and skin tightening. The Silhouette Soft Lift procedure takes approximately 30 minutes in our clinic and post-treatment you can see an immediate lift.

Both men and women, over the age of 30 who are showing signs of ageing, but do not want to undergo a full facelift or any heavy invasive surgery. This Silhouette Soft treatment exists as a non-surgical alternative to invasive surgery. It is basically a non-surgical facelift that can create beautiful, natural-looking results.

The Silhouette Soft Lift can be used to treat many different areas of the face:

• Facial Contour: This redefines the contour of the face, firming up the skin and giving a fuller look to cheeks.
• Lower Jaw: The contour of the face regains definition and cheeks are redefined
• Cheeks and Cheekbones: The cheeks and cheekbones appear fuller and the nasolabial fold is reduced.
• Eyebrows: This opens up the eyes, and raises the outer edge of the eyebrow.

You may experience some slight swelling or bruising which subside within a few days. There is virtually no downtime; and an antibiotic cream will be prescribed to apply twice daily for 5 days to the treated area.

The effects of a Silhouette Soft Lift can be seen immediately, and will improve over time. The full result takes around 4 – 6 weeks to appear, and will last up to 36 months with an average of 24 months. The results can last more than 3 years depending on each patient. It also tends to last longer if you combine the procedure with Dermal Fillers.
