Cosmos Clinic offers a variety of treatment options to combat Smokers Wrinkles:
Dermal Fillers: At Cosmos Clinic, we inject only the highest quality Dermal Fillers to smooth out and fill in lines in the upper and lower lip as well as around the mouth. The filler is made from a naturally occurring substance (called hyaluronic acid) that is found in the body. This filler usually lasts about 12 months when used to treat Smoker’s Lines (*Results may vary from patient to patient).
These filler injections can also be used to enhance the shape of the lip (via lip fillers) and can create a more defined lip border. Product selection will vary according to the patient’s requirements and the severity of their Smoker’s Lines.
Anti-Wrinkle Injections can also be used in conjunction with Dermal Fillers. This form of wrinkle remover can assist in minimising the muscle movement around the mouth that causes these stubborn vertical lines.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP): is a natural treatment used for improving skin appearance, texture and elasticity. For this skin rejuvenation treatment, your own blood is spun in a centrifuge to extract plasma, which is then used to treat lines around the mouth. It does this by stimulating the production of new collagen to create a more smooth, youthful look.
Fractional Laser: is a laser treatment option often used as an effective treatment for upper lip wrinkles. The treatment targets a “fraction” of the skin by causing thousands of tiny perforations to the Smoker’s Line, but leaves the surrounding unwrinkled skin intact. Healthy cells move into the treated area and cause collagen stimulation. Improvements continue for 3 to 6 months (*Results may vary from patient to patient) and the number of treatments required will vary depending on individual factors. On average, patients usually require 1 to 2 treatments when used in combination with PRP.
Smokers Wrinkles treatment prices vary depending on your overall situation, expectations and treatment option selected.
