    THE RESULTS

Using the Highest Quality Dermal Fillers for Natural Results in Sydney

    What are dermal fillers?

Temporary dermal filler is made with hyaluronic acid gel that’s injected under the skin to restore facial volume, soften wrinkles and enhance facial contours. Dermal fillers have become extremely popular in recent years because they produce noticeable aesthetic improvements that could only be previously accomplished with surgery. Below are some of the ways fillers are used to enhance your appearance:

    • Improve facial contours
    • Add volume and definition to lips
    • Fill in hollow or sunken tear troughs
    • Soften lines, folds and creases
    • Improve the appearance of scars
    • Correct facial asymmetry

    Why choose dermal fillers, Sydney?

Dermal filler is less expensive than surgery and has virtually now downtime. In fact, treatment takes 15-30 minutes and can even be performed during your lunch break. Filler is suitable for busy individuals or those who are not interested in surgery. In just one quick visit, or a series of sessions, you can achieve profound facial lifting and contouring, reversing the signs of aging and gaining back your confidence.

Who is the best candidate for dermal fillers?

If you’re concerned with sagging skin, drooping facial contours, wrinkles, creases, and you’d like to achieve firmer, younger skin then you’re a good candidate for injectable dermal filler. Both women and men of all ages can benefit from filler because it’s not just used for anti-aging but also to enhance facial symmetry and features.

    How are dermal fillers performed?

Fillers can be injected with a needle or cannula (blunt tip needle), depending on the treatment area. Your injector may apply a topical numbing agent first to make the experience more comfortable. Furthermore, most hyaluronic acid fillers contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic that adds another level of comfort to the treatment.

    What to expect post procedure

There may be some redness, swelling and possible bruising post procedure but most patients can return to work immediately after. Areas such as lips can swell considerably for the first 48 hours and return to normal in a couple of days. Bruising can be covered up with makeup if necessary. Results typically last 6-12 months and some can last up to 24 months. We recommend having maintenance treatment done every 10-12 months.

How much does the procedure cost?

    • Prices start from $350
    • Discounts are available for additional syringes
    • Initial consultation is between $120 – $150, redeemable upon treatment

    What is Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a gel that is injected under the skin to add volume to areas such as cheeks, lips, under the eyes, nasolabial folds and to plump wrinkles and lines. Injectable HA is almost identical to our own naturally occurring substance in the body. It is completely biocompatible and after being injected it’s normally broken down by the body after 6-24 months.

Can dermal fillers replace surgical procedures?

Fillers are becoming increasingly sophisticated and specialised, offering patients highly effective non-surgical options for facial rejuvenation. There are some limitations, however. Those who have excess skin or considerable sun damage may require surgery or laser resurfacing to achieve satisfactory results.

What are the side-effects of dermal filler?

Most people tolerate dermal filler injections very well, even after many years of use. With any medical procedure, however, there are some temporary side-effects such as swelling, redness and bruising. These normally resolve after several hours or days.

It is possible to develop some rare complications such as infection or lumps (called granulomas) but this is very rare. The good news is if patients need to reverse the filler, it can be instantly dissolved with hyaluronidase.
