Dr. Samuel Ho

Originally from New Zealand, Dr Ho graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery, from the University of Otago, New Zealand, in 2001. Starting his medical career in New Zealand as a Medical Registrar in the hospitals of Wellington, Dr Ho went on to work at multiple medical facilities across Australasia, New Zealand, Western Australia, Tasmania, and Canberra. Upon relocating to Australia in 2006, Dr Ho continued to pursue challenges in the field of medicine, choosing to utilise his training in Intensive Care in rural settings, throughout the remote regions of Western Australia and Kalgoorlie.

Dr Ho has also collaborated academically to the areas of medical research and education. Dr Ho contributed to undergraduate eLearning at the University of Otago, designing and digitising both medical and pathohistological photos, forming the basis of computer-based tutorials for students in his alma mater. In addition to this, his supervised clinical research audit in 2013 examined the levels of Vitamin D in hospitalised patients, and its correlation with the recovery of orthopaedic patients post-surgically.

Working alongside Dr Christopher Lee in Canberra, performing Vaser Liposuction, Buttock Augmentation, and Fat Transfer procedures, with his kind nature, Dr Ho is an asset to the Cosmos Aesthetics Canberra team.
