Mega Liposuction Before & After

Vaser mega liposuction can remove a large amount of fat, offering a permanent weight loss solution with minimal scarring.

Traditional methods of liposuction can be associated with longer downtime and are considered more invasive than Vaser mega liposuction. This is because of Vaser’s method of using ultrasound energy to melt the unwanted fat before it is removed. Breaking down the fat before removal prevents harm to surrounding tissue as it is suctioned away, as well as creates smoother results, as turning the fat into a liquid-like consistency eliminates lumps and bumps. The heat from the ultrasound energy prompts the skin to tighten and become firmer in the treated area, helping to reduce the appearance of sagging skin after the procedure.

After mega liposuction with Vaser at Cosmos Aesthetics, an immediate fat reduction will be noticeable, while results will continue to improve within three to six months. The skin tightening process will also need time to take place before patients can begin to see results. Since the mega liposuction procedure involves removing a large volume of fat, some patients may still notice skin wrinkling or excess skin in certain areas of the body, particularly if the patients have poor skin elasticity. If the skin does still appear loose or wrinkly, we can offer additional skin tightening procedures to treat this and create a firm, sculpted appearance. The procedure involves minimal recovery time, typically about one week.

To remove the desired amount of fat, multiple treatments may be required, as the limit of fat removal per single procedure is 5 litres. The number of treatments that you will need will depend on your individual goals and will vary per patient.
