THE PROCEDURE
Ultraformer III uses high-frequency focused ultrasound (HIFU) energy to target specific layers of the skin. The treatment aims to support tissue repositioning and promote collagen growth, particularly in areas such as the neck, jowls, cheeks, or even the stomach.
The device delivers precise ultrasound energy to different skin depths, including the dermal and SMAS (superficial muscular aponeurotic system) layers. This targeted energy heats the tissue to 60–70 degrees Celsius, leading to contraction of existing collagen fibres and stimulation of new collagen production over the following weeks and months.
Ultraformer is suitable for addressing various areas:
Ultraformer III treatment durations depending on the size of the area being treated. For larger areas like the full face or body, sessions typically take 45–60 minutes. Smaller, focused areas may only need 15–30 minutes. Most people follow a plan of two treatments spaced 3–6 months apart, with a yearly session to maintain the results.
Ultraformer III may not be suitable for everyone. It’s not recommended for those who are pregnant, have facial implants, or any open wounds on the treatment area. To find out if this treatment is right for you, book a consultation with one of our experienced clinicians, who can guide you through your options and create a personalised plan.
The cost of Ultraformer III treatments will depend on the size and location of the treatment area. For personalised pricing and treatment plans, please contact Cosmos Clinic to schedule a consultation.
