BREAST LIFTS
Recently, performing breast lifts with laser skin tightening has becomea very popular and effective procedure. Many patients are wanting firmer, perkier breasts but are afraid of big ugly scaring and long downtimes.
The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic and some light sedation. The specialised laser source is then placed into the second layer of skin where it then heats up all the collagen and elastin fibres in that area. Laser neck lift
The "Laser Neck Lift" is a new procedure allowing men and women to remove their "Turkey Neck" or "Double Chin" without the need to remove excess skin. The laser neck lift uses Laser skin tightening as explained above to remove small fatty deposits while tightening and improving the quality of the surrounding skin.
CELLULITE Is caused by the very superficial layers of fat pressing up against the lower layers of skin. In many cases, cellulite occurs in people who are overweight or have genetically inherited this trait. Cellulite most commonly occurs in the thighs and buttocks however, it can sometimes be found in other regions around the body.
Peel Away
The peel away treatment is a breakthrough procedure that is offering long term reductions to stubborn areas of cellulite. There many systems and techniques within the industry that claim to remove cellulite however, most of these don't work or only offer short term improvements.
The procedure involves the insertion of a thin laser fibre under the skin into the target zone which fires out a very specific wavelength of laser energy (typically between 920nm and 1390nm) to heat up the surrounding superficial layers of fat. The ability to generate heat in this zone of the skin causes damage to these fat cells which will then be removed by the body over a 2-3 month period. The heat will also stimulate new collagen production which thickens and improves the quality of the skin and thus helping to making the cellulite less noticeable. 2-3 peel away treatments may be required to obtain optimal results.
Threads
The threads techniques is ever growing in popularity for those patients who wish to remove saggy skin from their face and neck without having to undergo a full blown face lift.
Threads involves the insertion of a very fine suture into the skin via a tiny nick in the hairline. The suture is equipped with tiny little barbs or cones that latch onto the facial tissue once placed in the correct position. Once the Surgeon has positioned the suture correctly he will pull the thread tight, lifting the skin and restoring a youthful appearance. A number of threads may be used to achieve the desired look. The time taken to perform the procedure is 1 - 2 hours.
