A cannula is inserted via small incision sites into the stubborn fat deposits. The unwanted excess fat is broken apart with the cannula, to prepare the fat cells to be suctioned out of the treated areas of the body via the incisions.

The ultrasound liposuction technique of Vaser Liposuction may enhance skin tightening, and can reduce the small deposits of unwanted stubborn fat in the upper inner thighs, upper outer thighs (saddle bags), front thighs, back thighs, and inner knees in suitable candidates.
