Volume Enhancement Treatments/ Skin Boosterd

At  Cosmos Aesthetics we only inject the highest quality Volume Enhancement Treatments to smooth and fill lines in the upper lip and around the mouth. The filler is made from a naturally occurring substance found in the body and usually lasts about 12 months when used to treat Smoker’s Lines. Volume Enhancement Treatments may be used with the intention of enhancing the lip shape and defining the lip border, depending on individual treatment goals. Product selection will vary according to the patient’s requirements and the severity of their Smoker’s Lines. Treating Smoker’s Lines with Volume Enhancement Treatments costs between $350 and $850.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a natural treatment used for improving skin appearance, texture and elasticity. As simple as a small blood test, your blood is spun in a centrifuge to extract your plasma which is then used to treat lines around the mouth. It does this by stimulating the production of collagen. Treating Smoker’s Lines with PRP costs between $400 and $600.

Fractional Laser

Fractional Lasers such as the Profile Sciton Laser are often used as an effective treatment for upper lip wrinkles. The treatment targets a “fraction” of the skin by causing thousands of tiny perforations to the Smoker’s Line, but leaves the surrounding unwrinkled skin intact. Healthy cells move into the treated area and cause collagen stimulation. Improvements continue for 3 to 6 months and the number of treatments required will vary depending on individual factors.
