Who is the owner of Cosmos Aesthetics?

Cosmos Aesthetics is proudly owned and operated by Associate Professor Peter Haertsch A.M. A/Professor Haertsch is a specialist plastic and reconstructive surgeon with experience in the field for over 40 years. He undertook his medical training at the University of Sydney and trained as a general surgeon in Edinburgh, where he then returned to Sydney to practice. After several years, he returned to England and the United States to train in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He has been practicing as a specialist plastic surgeon ever since, with particular expertise in gender reassignment surgery, burns surgery, and cosmetic surgery. He has experience not only as a clinical surgeon, but also in various director roles, including head of department plastic surgery at Concord hospital and Wollongong hospital. This expertise and experience makes him an ideal leader for the Cosmos Aesthetics group.
A/Professor Haertsch was awarded the Order of Australia Medal in 2003 for his work treating the Bali bombing burn victims and a Member in the General Division (AM) in 2018 for significant service to medicine in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery as clinical and administrator, and to medical education.
