What is a Vaser Liposuction Breast Reduction?
Vaser Liposuction Breast Reduction is a cosmetic procedure where the amount of fat in the breasts is reduced to give patients a 1-2 cup size reduction. In some cases, a reduction can be more than 2 cup sizes.
Through the use of ultrasound technology (Vaser), the excess fat in your breasts is gently melted and suctioned out, allowing for a smooth and natural result.
The treatment results in firmer, proportionately shaped breasts and allows the natural elastic tissue in the breast to retract and produce a noticeable breast lift without any visible scarring.
How does a Vaser Liposuction Procedure work?
Vaser Liposuction Breast Reduction is a less intrusive, invasive and intimidating cosmetic surgery procedure than traditional breast surgery.
Tiny 5mm incisions are made to allow for the introduction of the cannula. The area to be reshaped is then filled with solution that helps numb the site.
After this, a small probe is then inserted into the breasts. The probe transmits ultrasound energy to melt the fat. This also tightens the skin and heats up fibres causing contraction, and a lift in the breast. The liquefied fat is then gently suctioned, to give a smooth, natural result.
This technique benefits the patient with virtually no scarring, less pain and trauma and a quicker recovery time(* Results may vary from patient to patient)
It avoids the ugly, lollipop scar of traditional breast reduction, which can look unappealing in women with dark skin.

Is a Vaser Liposuction Breast Reduction painful?
During the procedure you will feel slight pressure on the areas being treated, but you will not feel pain. You will be sedated, relaxed and the area being treated is numbed. There is no need for general anaesthetic.
After the procedure you may feel slight discomfort, our patients tell us that it feels similar to sore muscles after a heavy chest workout. We provide you with a script for pain relief after your procedure. Usually patients use pain relief for the next 1-2 days post procedure.
Who is a suitable candidate for Vaser Liposuction Breast Reduction?
Women over the age of 20 tend to have more fatty tissue in their breasts, which is ideal for Vaser Liposuction Breast Reduction. That being said, we have performed this procedure on women under 20 with great results, your suitability can be discussed in your consultation.

The examples, predictions, and results offered on this website vary from individual to individual. Results take time. They can be seen in as little as 6 weeks. This time may vary considerably depending on each individual. 6 weeks is a typical example. Results are effected by a number of factors, predominantly the way in which a patient follows instructions post surgery and the manner in which the patient behaves generally post surgery. Diet and exercise play an important part in the health and well being of a patient and in the maintenance of their body shape. Results will also vary purely based on the general make up of each patient and whether they have had surgery previously.
