iGuide Brow Lift – Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide & Gold Coast
Developed by leading plastic surgeon, Dr Mueller (USA), the iGuide technology offers fantastic results with a minimally invasive method leading to a very fast recovery.
The iGuide Brow Lift is a minimally invasive procedure offering dramatic results with out the downtime of a traditional brow lift. The iGuide treatment developed by USA board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Gregory Mueller, has been FDA cleared for general use since 2007 and has recently been introduced in Australasia. It is designed to treat loose sagging skin, rejuvenate fine lines and create a beautiful defined lift for drooping and tired looking eye brows. The doctors at Cosmos Clinic received first hand training in the iGuide procedure from Dr. Gregory Mueller in Los Angeles in 2012.
What is involved?
The iGuide Brow Lift is a walk-in walk-out treatment that is a minimally invasive alternative to a traditional brow lift. Performed under mild sedation and local anaesthetic, minute discreet punctures allow a suture to be anchored in the hairline. From this fixed point in the hairline, a suture is passed in a loop like pattern through the eyebrows to lift the brows where needed. Two doctors are able to pull the stitch at the same time to ensure that there is symmetrical tension and creating a beautiful defined lift to the brows. There is minimal downtime and patients are able to return to normal activities around 2 to 3 days after the treatment.

How does the iGuide Brow Lift differ to a traditional brow lift?
A traditional brow lift required cutting of the skin that resulted in scarring and significant downtime. The iGuide Brow Lift produces dramatic results without the need to cut the skin.
What are the benefits?
Advantages of the iGuide Brow Lift procedure include:
- Effective: although not as intrusive as a traditional brow lift, the iGuide Brow Lift provides visible and real results;
- Gentle: the procedure is gentle with only tiny punctures and no cutting of the skin. This results in minimal bruising and scarring;
- Safer: done under light sedation making it safer than a procedure where general anaesthetic is required ; and
- Faster recovery: downtime is minimal with most patients back to work within 2-3 days.
Who is an ideal candidate for the iGuide Brow Lift?
An iGuide Brow Lift is suitable for people who are concerned with the appearance of their forehead and want to create more defined and lifted brows. This treatment can be used if Anti Wrinkle Injections and other methods of lifting the brows are no longer achieving the desired lift.
