FAQs.  Please read carefully.

  • How much is a consultation?

Consultation fees vary depending on who you will see e.g. Liposuction consults are between $150-$220, Surgical consults are $200- $270. Non-Surgical Consultation Fee is redeemable should you go through any procedure at our clinic on the same day as the consultation. Please note that consultations are required to be paid in advance when booking.

  • Is there a Cancellation policy?

Cancellations of consultations are not refundable.  You can however reschedule an appointment.

  • How long does a consultation take?

Consultations range from 30mins to 1hr.

  • What treatments are available where?

Our clinics are in Double Bay – Sydney, Deakin – Canberra, North Adelaide – Adelaide and Benowa – Gold Coast.

These are our main facilities where you can have a consultation with both doctors and nurses and most treatments are performed.

  • Is my partner/friend able to wait for me while I get my procedure done?

They are welcome to wait for you in the reception area. For longer procedure we recommend that they do not wait and we will call them before you are ready to leave the clinic.

  • Is it safe for me to go home alone after liposuction?

You will not be discharged until the attending doctor feels you are fit to leave. Even though it is completely safe for you to leave the clinic after spending at least 2 hours in our recovery area, you will still be feeling a little sleepy. We always highly recommend that a responsible adult is at hand to take you home and stay with you for the first 24hrs after your procedure. You will also be given telephone numbers to contact if you have any questions or concerns.

  • What is a compression garment and how long to I have to wear it?

After Liposuction you will be required to wear a tight fitting suit to help reduce bruising, swelling and improve skin retraction. You will need to wear the garment for one to two weeks after the procedure depending on what procedure you have had.

  • Are treatment/procedures covered by health funds or medicare?

There is usually a medicare rebate for breast reduction and tummy tuck, but most of the time, elective cosmetic procedures are not covered. Contact your health fund or Medicare to ask what you are covered for before proceeding with treatment.

  • What is twilight sedation?

Vaser Liposuction being a gentler procedure does not require a general anaesthethic. Throughout the procedure patients are given medication to make them sleepy and also pain medication to keep them comfortable.
