Cosmos Aesthetics hosts world-renowned Dr Hoyos M.D.
In March 2013, Cosmos Aesthetics Sydney played host to the world-renowned Dr Alfredo Hoyos M.D!
Coming all the way from Bogota, Columbia; Dr Hoyos M.D held a three-day workshop on Vaser Liposuction (15th to 18th of March 2013). The inventor and trainer of Vaser assisted Hi-definition Liposculpture, otherwise known as Vaser Advanced Bodybuilding Sculpting (ABS) Liposuction, Dr Hoyos M.D has also refined techniques in fat transfer (Buttock and Pectoral Lipograft) and breast augmentation. Dr Hoyos M.D has published several aesthetic medicine studies internationally and travels to share his knowledge with select cosmetic practitioners. He is amongst the most respected doctor internationally.
All of the Cosmos Doctors were present at the workshop including Dr Joseph Ajaka, Dr Christopher Lee and Dr Erfan Rahbar; medical directors of Cosmos’s respective clinics. The workshop focused on refining surgical skills in relation to Vaser ABS Liposuction, the only form of liposuction that can achieve Hi definition results for the pecs, lats, chest and tummy areas. Vaser ABS Liposuction is designed to enhance body contours and can be an option for individuals seeking specific aesthetic goals.
Over the three days, Dr Hoyos shared with the Cosmos Doctors, his technique in how best to achieve the optimal results when undertaking the Vaser ABS procedure. Importantly, Dr Hoyos also shared his advice in relation to aftercare. Cosmos Aesthetics places a huge emphasis on aftercare treatments post liposuction including PRP and Lymphatic drainage massages. The importance of post-care was reiterated by Dr Hoyos who uses very similar aftercare treatments to that of Cosmos Aesthetics.

In an interview with Dr Hoyos (see video link below), he explains how Vaser Liposuction is able to achieve superior results given the small nature of the probes that are used to suck out the fat. Unlike other forms of technologies, Vaser Liposuction is able to target the fat in hard to reach areas like in between the abdominal muscles. In turn, this allows the doctor to achieve a highly defined and sculptured appearance.
