Lipodissolve – Non Surgical Liposuction

Lipodissovle is a non-surgical alternative to Liposuction>/h2>

What is Lipodissolve?

Lipodissolve is a non-surgical liposuction, an alternative method to treat small localised areas of fat. The main ingredient in Lipodissolve is phosphatidylcholine which is derived from soybeans and is a natural product found in our body. Its main role in the body is to help dissolve and breakdown fat.

Lipodissolve Treatment. How does it work?

A mixture of enzymes including phosphatidylcholine is injected into the fat using a fine needle. The dissolved fat is removed from the body by the urine. It uses the body’s own natural methods of excreting fat to permanently reduce fat deposits. It is effective for gynaecomastia (man boobs), lipomas (lumpy collections of fat) and stubborn areas that will not budge with diet and exercise.

How many Lipodissolve treatments will I need?

One to four treatments, 2 months apart are required to achieve the desired results. The results can take up to 2 months and maybe variable from patient to patient. With Liquid Liposuction the results are more predictable and greater amount of fat removal is possible in one session compared to lipodissolve. The side effects may include swelling, redness, bruising, pain, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea, generally for 2 days but up to one week.

Alternative Liposuction Treatment Options – Liquid Lipo / Liposoft

Due to the variability in results of non-surgical liposuction – lipodissolve and with the availability of Liqiud Lipo with minimal downtime, the use of lipodissolve has decreased at Cosmos Clinic. A greater amount of fat removal in one session is possible with Liquid lipo/ Liposoft, whilst smaller amounts of fat are removed in several sessions with Lipodissolve. The downtime is the same for liquidlipo as for lipodissolve with only one treatment session required.
