Excessive Sweating (technically known as Hyperhidrosis) is a condition effecting millions of people around the world. Uncontrolled sweating can occur in various parts of the body including the face, hands, feet and underarms.
Although high temperatures or stress can increase perspiration, they don’t cause hyperhidrosis. Instead, hyperhidrosis may be an inherited trait that stops the body from properly regulating it’s temperature. Until recently, Excessive Sweating has been difficult to control. Purified protein injections are commonly used these days to help offer a temporary solutions however, a new technique known as “Laser sweat ablation” is leading the way in more long term results.
Laser Sweat Ablation is a new technique that offers patients a permanent less invasive option for sweaty armpits. There is minimal discomfort and you can resume normal activities the same day. It is based on a infrared laser that generates heat to destroy the sweat glands and results in sweat-free armpits and an end to those socially awkward moments.

Excessive Sweating of the armpits can also be treated with permanent removal of the sweat glands by the use of a body jet machine. The body jet is able to separate the sweat glands from the adjacent tissues, allowing for the permanent removal of the sweat glands from the skin. This procedure is done under a light sedation and you are able to return to work the following day.
Excessive Sweating of the underarm, face, hands, feet and groin can be effectively treated with purified protein injections (click here for more info). The area to be treated is assessed for sweating before the injection of the muscle relaxing agent. Approximately 20 injections in each palm and armpit are required. A local anaesthetic cream is used to reduce the pain. The results can last for up to a year and half.
Patients treated with purified protein injections notice a remarkable improvement in their symptoms. In clinical studies, 95% of patients with hyperhidrosis experienced an improvement in their Excessive Sweating by an average of 83%.
Excessive Sweating treatment costs and prices vary widely depending on your overall situation and expectations and your initial consultation is $120 but is refunded if you proceed with any treatment. As a guide, procedures range from $1300 for the injectable anti-sweating treatment to $4400 for the laser sweat ablation
