Laser Liposuction Cellulite Treatment

The procedure involves the insertion of a thin laser fibre under the skin into the target zone which fires out a very specific wavelength of laser energy (typically between 920nm and 1390nm) to heat up the surrounding superficial layers of fat. The ability to generate heat in this zone of the skin causes damage to these fat cells which will then be removed by the body over a 2-3 month period. The heat will also stimulate new collagen production which thickens and improves the quality of the skin and thus helping to making the Cellulite less noticeable. 2-3 peel away treatments may be required to obtain optimal results.

Treatment times range from 1 – 2 hours depending on the severity of the cellulite and how many areas require treatment. Most patients will require 1 – 3 treatments spaced 1 month apart. A specific treatment plan will be discussed during your initial consultation.
